Rafa rues early errors against Arsenal

Posted by Unknown on 4:03 AM
Napoli boss Rafael Benitez believes that Tuesday night's 2-0 defeat at Arsenal was a consequence of individual errors rather than Champions League inexperience. The Partenopei, who are making just their second appearance in Europe's premier club competition since it was rebranded in 1992, looked overwhelmed during the early stages of the game at the Emirates, conceding twice in the opening 15 minutes through Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud. It is not a matter of experience but mistakes, the Champions League winner is quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport. We paid dearly for our start, suffering too much and we were punished. You pay for certain lapses in concentration. However, I liked the character shown in the second half, even if at that point the game was already in Arsenal's hands. The road is long and we will continue to work hard. We need to start over again in the league.
