Says:Hoeness Dortmund are laughing their arse off over Bayern unrest

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness believes sporting director Matthias Sammer's recent criticism of the team can only serve to harm them.

The Germany legend voiced his dissatisfaction with his side's performance in the 2-0 win over Hannover at the weekend, but Hoeness believes any unrest within the club will leave their rivals laughing.

If you criticise the team too often, it becomes less effective. I'm in favour of occasionally criticising things to make sure nobody is getting carried away, but the situation at Bayern doesn't merit any criticism at the moment, Hoeness told Bild.

The people at Dortmund are laughing their arse off. You almost get the impression that we have to apologise for a sovereign 2-0 win.
