Arsene Wenger does not expect Santi Cazorla to feature for Arsenal until after the next international break due to an ankle injury.
The forward picked up the problem while on duty with Spain in midweek, and is unlikely to play again until the next round of World Cup qualifiers are completed.
Cazorla has an ankle problem, Wenger said after the 3-1 win over Sunderland. "He will be out for a few weeks as well.
He added: I don't think he will play before the next international break.
The Gunners boss also confirmed fears that Olivier Giroud may have picked up a knee injury during the victory at the Stadium of Light.
That's my worry that Giroud is injured, today, after the game," he said. We are very thin at the moment.
It's a knee problem. He is the player at the moment who we cannot lose.
